Transitioning to a Fully Electric Fleet by 2026

We are committed to leading the way in sustainable maritime operations. As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental footprint, we’re excited to announce that we are transitioning to a fully electric fleet by 2026.

Currently, 40% of our vehicle fleet is powered by electricity, and this is just the beginning. By the end of 2026, we aim to have all our vehicles running on electric power, reducing carbon emissions and setting a new standard for green operations in the port industry. This shift not only aligns with our sustainability goals but also supports global efforts to combat climate change.

Our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop at vehicles. We’re working closely with local and international partners to explore additional ways to minimize our environmental impact, from using renewable energy sources to exploring the use of wind power for ships in port. By 2026, Ushuaia Shipping will not only be a leader in port services but also in green technology.

Stay tuned as we continue to electrify our fleet and help to shape the future of the port of Ushuaia!
